Our Story

Green Horse Tack is a family operated tack shop. When I was growing up, my family struggled to put any excess money into horses. I did my best to show my horse at the county fair and definitely did not have any flair or bling in my show attire or tack. Someone gave me an old GREEN blanket which my grandmother sewed back together and I proudly used on my horse. Today much of our tack on the farm is green. With this story in mind we launched Green Horse Tack. Having a son who is now showing horses, we fully appreciate the cost of both showing and keeping a horse. I remember that little boy and his humble beginnings who did his best to compete on a small budget. We hope we can be part of your success story as well.
